  • What can I put in my skip?

It depends on what kind of waste you decide to choose. We offer skips which can handle the three generic types of waste.

    • General (generic home goods)
    • Inert (soil, sand, concrete)
    • Wood

Please ONLY fill your skip to the fill line or else we won’t be able to collect it.

  • What can’t you put in your skip?
    • Asbestos
    • Plasterboard
    • Paint
    • Tyres
    • Gas cylinders
    • Large appliances (fridges/freezers)
    • Electrics such as televisions/computer monitors
    • Oil
    • Batteries and other chemicals
  • How high can I fill my skip?

You must fill your skip to the fill line. Any waste which exceeds the fill line will have to be left with you, or a larger skip will be needed. We highly suggest doing this as it can cause issues on collection.

  • Where can I put my skip once it has been delivered?

You can put your skip on your driveway or around the back of your property. If you need the skip on the road or a grass verge you must get a permit licence from your local council. Our experienced team can help advise you through this process.

  • What happens to my waste once it has been collected?

St Neots Skip Hire responsibly dispose of your waste, by recycling up to 90% of the entire skip contents.

  • Are you licensed to carry my waste?

St Neots Skip Hire are licenced fully with the Environmental Agency and respected local authorities. So you can be assured that we’re handling your waste to the highest standard, with our environmental promise guaranteed.
